Philosopher Interview: Chad Meister

Today's interview is with Chad Meister, professor of philosophy at Bethel College. He talks about his background and how he got into philosophy and apologetics, a defense of philosophy as a tool in apologetics, what philosophy is and isn't, his book Building Belief: Constructing Faith from the Ground Up, the starting points for apologetic/evangelistic engagement, ontology/epistemology distinctions when reasoning about God's existence, the role of the Holy Spirit, advice for communicators, and more.

Wow… Interesting! Chad surrounded by a Hindu boss, a Mormon evangelist, WWC evangelist, new age movement lady, and not to forget a Jehovah witness guy ;-) ... you must have been really confused as u said :-) God bless you sir. Go strong in the Lord!

Chad Meister seems like such a great guy. I'm not persuaded by evidentialism, am Reformed and disagree on various metaphysical issues with Chad, yet I think I would love to spend a few hours discussing things with him over a cup of coffee. I love his passion for Christ.
