Is he referencing two different things when he says the "book of God's word" and the "book of God's works?" Without knowing the context, I suppose he could be referencing Scripture as both an account of God's word and works. On the other hand, it seems to fit that he defines "God's word" as Scripture and "God's work" as creation (the natural sciences). Thanks for any info!
