I watched it the other day and it was devastating. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. I'd heard his general testimony, but not all of these details. (And just the way it was filmed as well added to the claustrophobic, trapped feeling. It's the feeling of existential despair. It's a feeling I remember all too well.)
Here's a man who lived out his atheism to its logical conclusion - something that most atheists can't or won't do. I remember being a teenager thinking through all the different worldviews and coming to his exact conclusion. If there really is no God... then anything goes. And I do mean anything. And I too remember feeling like I was so smart for understanding this while everyone around me didn't seem to get it. I am so thankful Jesus soon found me, before I went any further.
What an amazing Savior we have!
Praise God for Wood's salvation. Can you believe how much God has used him?I am a guy who never cries that much but was in tears watching this.
We really need to applaud David for his bravery in revealing so much. I was shocked to hear about his past, since he seems so articulate and well-read and he has a great sense of humor. The comment section on the video has some rude / crude comments as well.
