Inspired by the resources found at the end of each chapter of Walter Martin's excellent Kingdom of the Cults book, here is a good launching point for doing deeper research and study on some of the major cults. This list is by no means comprehensive, but it does represent some of the main resources recommended in Martin's book (reviewed here). Share your suggestions in the comments.

For a top notch resource on cults and religious movements, I highly recommend Anton Hein's excellent Apologetics Index at http://www.apologeticsindex.org/
Thanks. Great list, but the best resource I find is http://thecenters.org/
That picture is laugh out loud!
Though I think Rhodes, Bowman, and Reed have some helpful things to say, Ray Franz' books are the best resources out there on Jehovah's Witnesses. This is because Franz was a governing body member and is able to really give you an idea what goes on behind closed doors with the leadership. However, if one's goal is strictly for evangelistic purposes, then Brian's lists would be the best. But if you want to really understand the Witnesses and how their organization works, then there is no better resource than Franz.
A friend of mine has become a reformed protestant. Are there any good books to deal with that cult?
Peter, that's not funny. our Reformed brothers are not cults.
